The teaser trailer for Three Houses will be shot this coming weekend on location in New Jersey.  My call will be for Saturday morning at 6 am to be picked up at Penn Station.  Since I'm working until 12 am, I wonder if Seth or Miles has any idea what they're in for.  All I have to say is that the Coca Cola must be ice cold and flowing directly into my veins.  I promise not to growl but I can't say that I won't grunt.  I must have black tea bags to put on my eyes.  Unlike Sarah Palin, I don't need a bendable straw.  One good thing - it's all improv - I don't have to memorize any lines.

This month for class at Penny Templeton Studio, we are working on a scene from The Night of the Iguana and I'm playing against type, which is always fun.  I love Tennessee Williams!

As I am in the process of a internal NYC move, I'm not planning on any big mailings right now.  After I move and settle in, June will be a postcard month to announce the Joan Rivers Great Hair Day infomercial run, which hopefully will be rolled out to more markets after May 20th (when the next residual period starts).  My family, friends and relatives are all bemoaning they don't have Direct TV or Dish Network, the only two carriers of the full infomercial so far.  I would LOVE to land a commercial agent and start going out on commercial auditions.  They're probably the hardest for me to land here without an agent.  Well, next to nighttime drama, but that's a given.  So I'll look forward to it for sure!!

I'm still up in the air considering the blond hair thing.  I need to go try on a wig!!!  For those who haven't seen, check out this link and get an idea what I'd look like with blond hair.

Always playing catch-up with this blog!

I now have a Facebook page of my own right here, so please join up and become a FAN!

I performed at the Directing Actors TV Gym on March 21st (which was live-streamed) and the cast of "Three Houses" had our first public reading on March 11th, which was a great success!  We're on schedule to shoot the promotional trailer for the film the weekend of April 23rd and have another rehearsal/reading on April 18th.  So things are a-moving along!

Unbeknownst to me, the Joan Rivers infomercial, Joan Rivers Great Hair Day, that I shot in August 2009 has been up and running since February 20th!  A 10-minute segment from the 30-minute infomercial is here on YouTube and I am prominently featured, much to my delight!  Received my first (hopefully of many!) residual checks in the mail this past weekend.  I'm still trying to catch the entire program, which I'm sure I'll track down sooner than later!

Class with Penny Templeton is working on The Night of the Iguana this month, a play I'm not crazy about except for the last scene between Hannah and Shannon, which is what we're doing - yay!  I loved working on this week's scene study homework - a very funny scene from "30 Rock."  Tina, you and me, let's do lunch!

My studies with Lynn Andrews continue to fill my life with the joy of living.  My upcoming trip to New Mexico in May should once again be fantabulous beyond belief, as always.  I've had to confront some really dark parts of myself recently, stirred up by fear and lack and feeling undeserving.  It's amazing how darkness can slip in and steal part of your heart when you're running on empty or running on fear.  But what's more amazing is how you can learn from your mistakes and your pain to transform that fear into love, especially in being gentle toward yourself.  That is a difficult thing to do and I'm so glad I have the support of LACSAT to do it in.  Ho!
