June 16, 2010

Just had a great class today at Penny Templeton Studio working on Death and the Maiden.  It really feels great to just do the process, make discoveries and ACT.  And to see homework and hard work pay off.  Yes, I can be a lazy actor sometimes, but seriously, when you see the benefits of putting in the time and effort, even when it's not fun, wow, it really hits home why I do this day after day, week after week.

This Sunday is the 1st Year Directing Actors Gym Anniversary and I'm performing in a scene from the film The Departed.  Very excited!  I worked with Penny today on really honing in on the character and will work with my scene partner tomorrow.  Rock and roll!  The event will be shown on http://www.livestream.com/directingactors starting at 2 pm EDT (and no, that's not "erectile dysfunction time" - though that might fit the scene, har har!).

Have an audition on Friday for what looks like will be a very funny and well-done web series by writer/filmmaker Tony Clomax.
